The first nine years of maturation for The Dalmore 12 Year Old take place in American white oak ex-bourbon casks; after this time, the Highland single malt is divided to finish ageing in rare thirty-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks. At 40% ABV in a 700ml bottle, from the United Kingdom, this divided ageing process creates a whisky of legendary complexity, with marked notes of chocolate, orange and spice.

This is a premium single malt ideal for accompanying espresso coffee and pastries with nuts. Serve it neat in a wide glass to allow the Seville orange aromas to open slowly.
