Description
The history of Vat 69 begins in 1882 when William Sanderson prepared one hundred test vats and a panel of experts unanimously chose number 69 as the best. At 40% ABV in a 700ml bottle, from the United Kingdom, this blended Scotch combines about forty malt and grain whiskies in a smooth profile with honey and cereal notes.
Its simple and balanced character makes it excellent for everyday cocktail mixing. Serve it mixed with cola or ginger ale in a wide glass with ice.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Pale gold with clean straw highlights.
- Aroma: Sweet malt, toasted cereals and a light fruity touch.
- Palate: Soft and light-bodied, with honeybee sweetness, barley and a short finish.
