Description
From the historic Rioja Alta region comes Lagunilla Vina Herminia Crianza, a Tempranillo and Grenache blend aged for twelve months in combined American and French oak barrels. At 13.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle, this red wine shows an optimal balance between toasted wood and red fruit. Made in Spain.
Its friendly and gastronomic character makes it a classic companion for roasts. It pairs excellently with roasted meats, pasta in savoury sauces and semi-cured Spanish cheeses.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Clean ruby red of medium depth in the glass.
- Aroma: Ripe cherries, black plums, toasted wood and subtle coconut.
- Palate: Medium-bodied, rounded and polished, with a pleasant persistent finish.
- Serve: Serve at about 16 °C with roasts or semi-cured cheeses.
