Description
The historic family-run Muga winery crafts Muga Crianza 2020 in Haro, a red Tempranillo, Grenache, Mazuelo and Graciano blend fermented with indigenous yeasts in oak vats. At 14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle, this Rioja ages for twenty-four months in barrels made in the house's own cooperage. Made in Spain.
It represents one of the classical references of highest prestige in the area. Its fineness and mature tannins make it ideal for pairing with roasted lamb, red meats and Iberian ham.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Bright, clean cherry red in the glass.
- Aroma: Complex, with ripe red berries, black pepper and fine leather notes.
- Palate: Elegant, silky and well-structured, with a very long spiced finish.
- Serve: At about 16-18 °C with roasts, red meats or quality Iberian ham.
