Description
The prestigious Emilio Moro winery crafts Finca Resalso using the estate's youngest vines, planted the year of the founder's birth. At 14% ABV in a 750ml bottle, this Ribera del Duero Tempranillo undergoes four months in French oak to achieve a concentrated colour and a fruity profile of blackberries and licorice. Produced in Spain.
This is one of the best examples of structured young red in the region. Try it pairing with Iberian charcuterie, light meat stews and semi-cured sheep cheeses.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Intense cherry red of good depth with clean violet edges.
- Aroma: Explosive and fresh, with blackberry, black mulberries and sweet licorice.
- Palate: Meaty, structured and highly balanced, with long fruit persistence.
