Description
The prestigious Quintanilla de Onesimo area is the cradle of La Planta Ribera del Duero, a young and structured red crafted by Bodegas Arzuaga from twenty-year-old vines. At 14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle, it spends six months in French and American oak to round its fruitiness. Made in Spain.
Its juicy meatiness establishes it as a highly pleasant table red. It is excellent for pairing with traditional roasted red meats, legume stews and semi-cured cheeses.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Intense cherry red with highly clean violet highlights.
- Aroma: Complex, with wild black fruits, sweet licorice and fine cocoa hints.
- Palate: Fleshy, voluminous and highly fruity, with tasty mature tannins.
- Serve: Serve at about 15-16 °C with roasts, legumes or semi-cured cheeses.
