Description
Matsu El Picaro 2022 is the winery's youngest biodynamic red wine, designed to express the fruit vivacity of centenarian Tinta de Toro vines. At 14.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle, it remains for only three months on its lees in concrete tanks to maintain maximum freshness in Toro. Made in Spain.
Its velvety mouthfeel establishes it as a summery and fun Toro red wine. It successfully accompanies grilled vegetables, light pasta dishes and casual dinners.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Bright purple with highly clean violet highlights.
- Aroma: Fruit explosion of raspberry, blackberries and clay mineral hints.
- Palate: Balanced, highly fruity and velvety-textured showing great freshness.
- Serve: At about 15 °C with grilled vegetables, light pasta or tapas.
