Description
As an ambassador of Familia Torres' traditional character since 1954, Torres Sangre de Toro associates Grenache and Carignan in a highly smooth proposal. At 13.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle in Catalunya, this red wine ages briefly in oak barrels to polish its black fruitiness. Made in Spain.
Its Mediterranean and warm character is highly versatile on the daily table. It combines very well with traditional stews, grilled meats and cured cheeses.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Deep ruby red and bright with a garnet rim.
- Aroma: Expressive, with black blackberries, ripe plums, licorice and subtle spices.
- Palate: Warm, velvety and structured, with good concentration of fruit.
- Serve: At about 15-16 °C with traditional stews, grilled meats or cheeses.
