Description
Faustino VII is one of the most popular and well-known red wines from Rioja, crafted by an iconic producer in the denomination. This wine is crafted from 100% Tempranillo, with approximately ten months of ageing in American oak barrels that adds complexity to its fresh fruitiness. At 13% ABV in a 750ml bottle, made in Spain.
It makes a highly versatile and easy-drinking option for the daily table. It combines excellently with home-style stews, meat rice dishes and cured cheese boards.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Bright cherry red of good clarity with violet glints.
- Aroma: Fresh forest berries, strawberry, raspberry and a sweet vanilla hint.
- Palate: Light-bodied, balanced and smooth, with gentle tannins and a fresh finish.
- Serve: Serve at about 15 °C with simple stews, pasta or rice dishes.
