Description
Crafted by the prestigious Ossian winery, Quintaluna Verdejo stands out for coming from old Verdejo vines in Segovia, some of which are pre-phylloxera and ungrafted. At 13.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle, this white wine from the Castilla y Leon region ages on fine lees for several months to gain volume. Made in Spain.
This is a complex Verdejo showing great mineral personality. Serve it chilled pairing with baked white fish, roasted poultry or complex salads.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Clean straw yellow with bright greenish highlights.
- Aroma: White flowers, ripe stone fruit and flinty mineral notes.
- Palate: Voluminous, smooth and fresh, with a long and sophisticated finish.
- Serve: Serve chilled at about 8-10 °C with white fish or poultry.
