Seeking to highlight the fruitiness of the Tempranillo grape, Paulus Rioja presents itself as a contemporary and balanced proposal without losing the classic elegance of the region. Subjected to a controlled fermentation and a measured oak ageing period, this red offers a structured tannin profile showing gentle touch. At 13.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Produced in Spain.
It makes a highly recommended option for casual dinners. Its fruity and smooth profile makes it ideal for sharing with charcuterie boards, bar tapas or light grilled meats.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Bright cherry red of medium depth.
- Aroma: Fresh wild berries, red cherries and a faint hint of sweet vanilla.
- Palate: Medium-bodied, soft and rounded, with polished tannins and easy passage.
